We also assist those who wish to adopt children in Haiti. Here is a list of requirements to adoption.

The Adoption in Haiti is relatively easy. The deadline for the management of two to four months after receipt of the documents. The level of risk is minimal and the original documents (in French) required are:

A. For the adopted child:

• 3 passport photos
• Declaration of abandonment, transfer certificate (if applicable)
• Birth Certificate
• Death Certificate of parents (if applicable)
• Social History
• Physiological Evaluation
• Parents consent (if applicable)
• Detailed medical certificate, laboratory tests. (HIV + Sickling)

B. For the adoptive parent(s):

• 3 passport photos (for each parent)
• Birth Certificate (for each parent)
• A marriage certificate
• Special Power of Attorney legalized in the consulate or embassy of Haiti nearest
• Authorization of the competent authority of the country of the adoptive parent(s)
• Material guaranties:a
  1. Letter from employer with salary confirmation
  2. Property titles
  3. Bank Statements
• Social evaluation of the home of the adoptive parent(s)
• certificate of good conduct or criminal record (for both parents)
• Detailed medical certificate (for the couple if applicable)
• Psychological evaluation (for both parents)
• Reference letters (three (3) at least)
